ラスベガス在住 Mr.A Diazからお預かりした GSX1000Ｓカタナ （Part-15）です！
This is GSX1000S Katana (Part-15) shipped from Mr. A Diaz in Las Vegas!
少しずつではありますが、完成に近づきつつある RCM‐500 KATANA。
RCM – 500 KATANA is coming closer to completion little by little.
シングルシートデザインにマッチする様 エキソーストテールパイプの軌道を変更。
For the matching with single sheet cowl design, the style of the exhaust tailpipe is changed.
そのエキゾーストパイプに取り付けするサイレンサーのステーを製作する事に・・・
It has become necessary to produce the stay for the silencer attached to the exhaust pipe end・・・
アルミパイプを加熱して曲げ、合わせて切ります。
The aluminum pipe is heated for bending, aligned, and cut off.
先ほど旋盤で削り出した丸状のボスと曲げたパイプを溶接し。
The round boss, which was machined by the lathe earlier, is welded with the bent pipe.
溶接完了・・・ この後は表面を磨いてアルマイト処理に出されます。
Welding is completed・・・ After this, the surface is polished and sent for alumite treatment.
リアサスペンションも本来予定していた製品が納品されましたので交換しました。
As for a rear suspension, the originally planned rear suspension has been delivered. We’re going to replace the current one with it.
数日後、アルマイト処理されたサイレンサーステーが出来たので取り付けます。
A few days later, the alumited silencer stay has been completed. We’re going to mount it.
そしていよいよ、外装ペイントの準備に・・・
And at last, it is high time to prepare for exterior painting・・・
この２つはサンプル品で、左がアルミの金属風に塗装したもの。右はカーボン転写を
施したフェンダーで、Mr.Diazに見て頂く為にこれよりラスベガスへと送られます。
These two are samples. The left one is painted in an aluminum metal look. The right one is a fender to which carbon transfer was applied. These samples will be sent to Las Vegas for confirmation by Mr. Diaz.
随分進みましたが、まだいくつか課題がありますね・・・
私達の判断で進めているだけでなく Ｍｒ.Ｄｉａｚに確認しながら進めている部分も
あるので、メールでのやり取りが上手く行かないと作業の進行に影響が出るんです。
Works have made substantial progress, but there are several challenges left・・・We are working not only based on our judgment but also by obtaining confirmation from Mr. Diaz. So, if e-mail exchanges with him do not go smoothly, it has an impact on the working progress.

日本に来て頂き 実際に今の状態を見て頂けないのがとても残念ですが、もう少しで
完成ですので 引き続き頑張りますねー！
Mr. Diaz! We really feel sorry that you can’t come to Japan to take a look at the work. But it will be completed soon. We’ll keep working hard on it!
